Techniques
1. Learn the 6 MOST IMPORTANT things animators from Pixar, Disney, Warner Brothers and the every day cartoon creators use and rely on for successful projects. It is also what the old masters such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Escher, Andrew Wyeth and many others used to express feeling and emotion. I use these 6 techniques in my artwork, renderings, designs, sketches and drawings on a regular basis. This will surprise you. You see and touch these techniques every day.
2. How to create dimension and depth within designs.
3. How positive and negative spaces are used to accomplish a successful design and project.
4. The correct approach and methodology of using foreground, midground and background elements and textures to accomplish multiples levels of depth.
5. How to develop a balanced design composition.
6. How to successfully use repetitive elements throughout your design.

Practical
This is a very interactive workshop you will "learn by doing" and Paul will be hands-on with each student. Paul will show you hand skill techniques (how to confidently hold the pencils, markers and drafting supplies to achieve particular design and drafting techniques for speed, quickness, line quality and weight). To be followed by a guided hands-on and practical approach with each student on developing special organization and texture delineation skills.

If you wish to cancel altogether, the cancellation penalty is $200.
